AGU’s Geochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems (G-Cubed) journal to become open access
We are excited to announce AGU’s journal Geochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems (G-Cubed), which publishes research on the chemistry, physics, geology and biology of Earth and planetary processes, will become open access and all content published in the journal will be freely available starting 1 January 2022. AGU is also pleased to announce that starting 9 July 2021, we will eliminate excess page fees for all open access journals and for authors who purchase an open access license in our other journals.

Today, I am excited to announce the release of two more special podcast episodes exploring allyship and diversity, equity and inclusion featuring conversations with Billy Williams, AGU executive vice president of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Lisa White, director of education and outreach at the Museum of Paleontology at the University of California, Berkeley, chair of AGU’s diversity and inclusion advisory committee and an Eos science advisor.

In mid-April, NSF contacted AGU and several other societies to rapidly convene our respective communities and provide robust input and innovative ideas on climate change solutions to help inform a potential implementation strategy.
