We launched AGU Advances in 2019 to lead scientific publishing into the future. The gold open access journal has carved out a place for groundbreaking research that has broad and immediate implications for the scientific community and to our global society.
We are excited to announce AGU’s journal Geochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems (G-Cubed), which publishes research on the chemistry, physics, geology and biology of Earth and planetary processes, will become open access and all content published in the journal will be freely available starting 1 January 2022. AGU is also pleased to announce that starting 9 July 2021, we will eliminate excess page fees for all open access journals and for authors who purchase an open access license in our other journals.
AGU is pleased to announce an update to its corrections policy to allow for more flexibility around author name changes in our publications to better align with our values of diversity, equity and inclusion.
One way you can share your #AGU20 presentations is on the Earth and Space Science Open Archive (ESSOAr.org), a preprint and meeting presentation server led by AGU and other scholarly societies.
AGU has received funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) building on our work around open data sharing in the Earth, space and environmental sciences.
