AGU’s Digital Library is now live for members

By:

During pre-Fall Meeting #AGU19, AGU announced that we would make our Digital Library an added benefit of individual membership, effective January 2020.

We are pleased to announce that the digitized journal content, some of which goes back more than 100 years, is now live and free for individual members whose membership is in good standing. To access our Digital Library, please login to your membership account.

For $50 or less per year, you can join our community and explore thousands of papers, including influential, fundamental research on new theories and findings over the past century. AGU’s leadership in making science as accessible as possible has propelled our non-profit publications program, our six fully open access scholarly journals, and provided open access publishing options to subscription journals.

AGU members range from researchers, educators, students, and advocates. They join AGU from around the world and across every discipline of the Earth and space sciences. The global AGU community is passionate about collaboration, innovation, and discovery.

Supporting scientists and researchers across the globe is crucial to the mission inspiring AGU’s work. Our commitment to open, accessible science provides a world of reasons to join AGU or renew your membership. Free access to the Digital Library is just the newest item on the long list of member benefits and savings, including:

  • An Eos magazine subscription;
  • 35% discount on AGU books (use code AGU20) and journal access;
  • Free quarterly e-book;
  • Special member registration rates for AGU meetings; and
  • Free access to Geofacets so you can seamlessly search and integrate georeferenced maps from trusted sources.

We hope you will join us or renew your membership today!
