Whew! The first day of the second week of #AGU20 was busy with scientific sessions, town halls, named lectures, union sessions and events.
The second week of #AGU20 and we’re just getting started. Here are some things to look forward to on Tuesday, 8 December.
We can’t believe the first week of #AGU20 has concluded; time went by so quickly!
The second week of #AGU20 marks the beginning of the scientific sessions – oral, poster and eLightning—and the named-lectures – along with more plenaries and town halls, and some great Virtu-ale Happy Hours, with special guests.
We are wrapping up our first week of #AGU20 with a featured plenary with Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, a passionate advocate for inclusive excellence and STEM at UMBC, where he has served as president since 1992.
The second day of #AGU20 featured a plenary panel on the Amazon, town halls on everything from the 2020 election to the fifth National Climate Assessment, loads of science communication and science policy events, and several new innovative sessions exploring geoscience careers and promoting emerging leaders.
